Breaking in a Brooks Saddle:
Brooks saddles are crafted from thick, premium leather. Similar to a high-quality pair of shoes, the saddle gradually conforms to your body shape after 150–800 km of use, depending on the leather's quality (the Select range uses even higher-grade leather). Once broken in, the comfort is unparalleled!
We recommend applying Brooks Proofide to the top and underside of your saddle every few weeks when new to speed up the break-in process and help it adapt to your body more quickly.

Caring for your Brooks Saddle:
Like leather shoes, Brooks saddles require care once or twice a year with Brooks Proofide, a natural oil blend that prevents the leather from drying out. Brooks saddles also feature an adjustable tension system to tighten the leather as it stretches over time, maintaining a like-new feel for years.
