Fizik Argo R5 Tempo

TEMPO ARGO R5 is a versatile endurance road saddle with a short-nose design and generous ischial support that encourages stability.

While a traditional saddle shape often requires riders to shift their position for better leverage, the Argo keeps the rider in a more stable, planted position, improving stability and distributing weight more effectively.

The Tempo Argo’s compact design allows the rider to sit further forward without applying undue pressure on sensitive areas. It also features an ergonomic cutout, developed through detailed pressure analysis and medical expert input.

Argo is our most versatile saddle shape, with each version designed to suit different riding styles. As the endurance riding option, the Tempo Argo is engineered for a comfortable feel that complements the balanced geometry of modern all-purpose road bikes.

The padding is made from Fizik’s proprietary Type 2 foam formulation, slightly thicker around the ischial sit bones to promote a more upright riding posture. The cushioning is softer and more progressive compared to the foam used in our racing saddles, offering enhanced long-distance comfort.
